CENTERPLAY

CENTERPLAY is a one woman dance theater show that uses live music, singing, dancing, spoken word poetry, and storytelling through monologues to talk about the complex and interwoven emotional experiences of Black women. Many times Black women’s experiences are simplified to anger no matter how we express ourselves. This show is a statement about all the emotions we experience inbetween.
